Jan. 18
We went to Starbucks for coffee and donut and newspaper. This is our usual thing - Starbucks at 10, read paper for 45 minutes, then church at 11. Changed clothes at 5th wheel, then to Bass Pro for free Johnson Brats and coke. They are having a boat show with free stuff and promotions. Wanted to buy a package of 4 life jackets for $40, but they were sold out. They were nice ones, and I know they use this as bait to get you there, and then have only a few of them for sale. Of course, I spent about $20 on other stuff, and spent $90 on a 3-day 2-night stay at WI Dells, with $75 in Bass Pro gift certificates for listening to a time-share sales pitch. So once they get you to come out to the store, they know you will buy stuff - and I did! Also, we had coffee and key lime pie at their restaurant, Islamarada. Next we went to the book store for an hour or so, then home for late supper.

Jan. 17
Relaxed in the morning, reading and on the internet. Linda did the wash. She has to go about a block to the wash house, so she drives over, puts clothes in the washers, walks back, reads and has coffee, then walks back over and puts clothes in the dryer and stays until they are done. This is the worst part of living in the 5th wheel. I guess it’s better than scrubbing them with a rock down at the creek, but that’s easy for me to say!! We went for a long walk after lunch, and then to the movie - Valkyrie. It was very good, but very tense, not much humor in this one. We have seen 3 movies so far, all that the critics said were not so good, and WE thought all 3 were very good. We never listen to them - if they like it, we probably won’t because it will be some weird kind of story.
